History of Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard

The off-white, black and orange colors from the Air Jordan 1 is a colorway that was first released in June 2015. This original colorway was inspired by an exhibition game in which Micheal Jordan played put on by Nike in 1985 in Trieste, Italy. In this game, MJ’s dunk shattered the backboard. His jersey that he wore in this game was orange with white numbers and so the Shattered Backboard was born.
